Hi Alison
I would just like to say a huge thank you, both weaners are well and settled in straight away.
The course that my husband and I came on was so informative and gave us the confidance to build our own ark and pig pen and have all the dodumentation ready. Also it gave me the confidence that I could do this.
Thank you

Welcome to the Spottypiggies home page

We are passionate about Gloucester Old Spots and our website will tell you everything about what we do and offer at Hook Farm.
The Gloucester Old Spot was officially recognised as a breed in 1913, but had been in existence for at least two hundred years before that. It is also known as the orchard pig, because it was commonly kept in the apple orchards of Gloucestershire. It is folklore that the spots came from bruises caused by the falling apples.
We keep Boris our breeding boar and Florence our sow to do their bit towards keeping the Gloucester Old Spot breed alive and well.
We sell some weaners and grow others on to finishing weight. We then sell half or quarter pigs to our customers who can look forward to the most delicious pork meat with crackling to die for!
Have a look at what we offer on the website and contact us if we can help you with anything. We very much look forward to meeting you on a course, making sausages, collecting your half pig or buying a weaner.
Pig Feeders

We have three second hand pig feeders for sale. They are operated by the pig pushing the treadle and releasing the food onto the plate and are very useful during the ad lib feeding of weaners. They are very sturdy and well designed with metal loops to be moved by tractor if needed.

They are £100 each.
